POTATOES!
Sunday, Sept 20th 9am-5pm the annual Pick-Your-Own Potatoes at the Chappelle Farm in Williamstown, VT. No digging involved! The potato digger goes along and digs them up and you pick the size potatoes you want and the quantity you want. Only 25 cents per pound. Bring your buckets or sacks and wear your boots and old clothes.
Take Exit 5 and go down into Williamstown, go south on Rte 14 and look for the Potato signs. Barbara & Bob can be reached at 433-5930.
You can also buy 50 lb sacks of various grades of potatoes from the Chappelle warehouse throughout most of the year.
(If you can't get to the pick-your-own day - you can purchase 10lb bags of potatoes for $5 from our daughter Minda who is raising money for her DC trip.)
